two days and counting...

so tuesday brings us 2 days away from the scheduled injection of pitocin at 6:oo am. excited? to say the least. the past 9 months have gone by pretty fast, with the exception of the last one. how much longer is this going to take? thats all we have been thinking. andrea visited the doctor monday the 11th one day after she was due. i dont think there is anything legally we can do about the due date being missed, but stranger things have happened. andrea told me after her visit about the pending inducing on thursday. at first, i was a little upset it wouldnt be tuesday or wednesday so i could get out of work for the rest of the week, but thursday sounded just fine. later i found out my dad shared the same thought the day i was welcomed to portland, oregon. man, zorro jones would have been amazing. so thursday the 14th huh? geez, we really dont want a valentines kiddo, and not to mention lost is on at 8:00. being here before then so we can watch at 8:00 would be in her best interests. thats for sure.

other than that, the room is ready, the family is ready, the friends are ready, and i think we are ready. i guess always having our home open to others and having folks stay with us for the past 2 or so years has been good preparation for the next 18! we are so excited to welcome isabel zora feingold into the mix. now if only i can find a way to make a living as a full time stay at home dad...
