this weekends weather turned out to be rather amazing. isabel was able to go on her first official dog walk with us. she did wonderfully. she stayed close and never once ran off. she minds us so well. the dogs on the other hand... they werent as mindful. so we put them to work. notice exhibit b, and c. although they are far from being alaskan mush dogs, we feel they could be the best texas iditarod dogs, if the iditarod ever came to texas, and instead of sleds, we used strollers. my mom was in town since thursday, sabrina and chris came in on saturday, and my grandparents spent a couple of hours today with us. isabel has more friends and family than a lot of folks out there. isnt it great? jenni came by and brought us dinner. what a meal. cant beat pot roast. the wonderful community at rcv is always so thoughtful. we love that place. this will be our first week alone as a family. andrea is doing a fantastic job at home by herself. it kills me i cant be home with her. one day... all in all, we are waiting for her umbilical cord thingy to fall off. its kinda gross. enjoy the pictures and movie. isabel is doing just fine.
